Mastering of Vocals and Guitar

When I was mastering the vocal and guitar track, I set the low’s compression at -11dB and the ratio at 2:1. I had the heavy compression set at -31.5dB and the ratio of 29:1. This meant that the majority of the mix was being compressed by about -7dB. I mastered this track using parallel and maxim. (see maxim post)
